We are students at Fayetteville-Manlius and Nottingham High School and we’re writing in concerns of the unequal access to educational resources. This is a problem because students are not given the same opportunities to be successful. Students are trapped in the cycle of poverty. We need financial incentives for teachers to teach at lower performing schools, increased funding for low-resourced schools and more money for schools based on need, not performance. We also need more funding for students to attend college, so it can be more economically feasible option for all.
